Popular Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo-Blessed together with her husband pastor Blessed Uzochikwa and their new born child spark excitment online as they took part in a popular social media challenge alongside their relatives and friends.
Recall that Mercy Chinwo and her husband in an Instagram post on Friday October 27th 2023 announced the arrival of their first child.
Mercy Chinwo in a joint Instagram post with her husband wrote;
“Lord, we are grateful; we approach Your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving.
You’ve filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration.

In the Instagram video, Mercy Chinwo together with her husband who carries the newborn baby alongside relatives, friends were seen doing their version of the popular ‘I’m not the bride’ challenge.
This time, the challenge is “I’m not the child” and they were seen introducing themselves as Uncle of the child, the child’s guest, friend to the dad and mum of the child, child God’s mum, the child grandmother, Child’s mother and the last man on the line is the child’s father.
At the conclusion of the video, the friends, relatives and Mercy Chinwo rushed to Mercy Chinwo’s husband to embrace him with the child, beaming for the camera.
